The basics of photography to me are a lot like learning to ride a bike. You pick your equipment, you learn to make it go, you smile with delight if the results are good and retry if they aren’t. Then..and this is where the fun starts.. you get to add in the hills and jumps and flames and smoke and tigers; makes the ride new even if your pedals are the same.I can take a photography of the same thing, say a stretch of road or even a child, everyday for a year and everyday it will change just enough for me to get to change my approach, angle or camera settings.
Hello!! I am a self taught photographer and I am proud to say I will always be learning. I am also a mother of two boys and a foster mother to one more, whom is also my nephew so technically I am a foster aunt. All of this makes me in the category of “momtographer” as they call us on line.. and I am very proud of that label. I have not spend alot of time reading all the negative stigmas people attach to that “momtographer” word because it simply seems like the best of both worlds if you ask me.
