Flash forward six years to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
All of the heroes that you play as in the Zelda series are reincarnations of the original Hero of Time, and have supposedly not interacted with one another in their previous life. Or have they?
In the Twilight Princess you meet a character named The Hero's Shade. This Stalfos-looking man responds to songs from Majora's Mask, and teaches Link sword techniques from the Hero's bloodline.
Yet, only incarnations of the Hero of Time could know these sword techniques. If you remember, in Majora’s Mask, Link is warned that if he goes into the Lost Woods alone he would become a Stalfos, and no longer be a
living man. Could this be the dead Hero’s (Link’s) Stalfos from Majora’s Mask?
While many believe this is truly Link’s lost soul, others believe this is merely a matter of coincidence.
I’ll leave the choice up to you.
