The 2023-2024 provisional project of Junior Auxiliary of Columbus , AllStars , is a camp style developmental program for boys in third through fifth grade . This project provides a safe and enriching environment where young boys engage in educational , recreational , and social activities while focusing on goal setting and reaching their full potential . The program partners with local male role models to empower the boys and prepare them for middle school by offering opportunities for personal growth , fostering positive relationships , and promoting a sense of belonging .
Recently , AllStars hosted a “ Stop the Bleed ” presentation with local surgeon Dr . Beckham and flight paramedics . Participants learned essential lifesaving skills to help someone who has suffered a traumatic or life-threatening injury . Additionally , AllStars presented a fire safety program with the Columbus Fire Department , where local firefighters taught the importance of making your mark in all that you do . Other male influences who have partnered with AllStars include U . S . Air Force Pilots , Mayor Keith Gaskin , NFL celebrity Johnthan Banks , Heritage Academy ’ s head football coach Tobias Smith , and local youth ministers and police officers .

During AllStars , Junior Auxiliary committee members focus on promoting academic success , teaching life lessons , and encouraging creativity and self expression through various speakers . “ AllStars is an amazing project that supports young boys in our community , encouraging them to always work hard . AllStars strives to instill values such as team work , resilience and empathy , while also fostering a love for sports and the outdoors through various science projects , games , and relays . Committee members have successfully facilitated two camp presentations and excitement abounds for the future of this program .
