Where did 2024 go ? How is it already June !
May was such a busy month , it came and went in a blink of an eye ! I ’ m beyond happy that show season is finally here . Seeya Jazz and I have been busy going to shows throughout May . We certainly scrapped off the dust from “ Winter ”. She showed me that of the two of us , I was the one out of shape . Jazz and I even earned ourselves our first Reserve Highpoint of the season at the Northwest Saddle Club Spring Fling event and got our first sunburnt too . What a way to start off the season .
With show season underway , just a few reminders : have fun , be safe , thank your judges and ring crew / gate helpers , appreciate time spent with your horse , laugh with your friends , cheer for each other , and enjoy each show . Also don ’ t forget to thank your cheerleaders that come to watch . Mine would be my amazing parents and my wonderful WSCA family I ’ ve met along the way .
With June being here , the Court has been super busy getting ready for our Royalty Show on the 15th at the Northwest Saddle Club grounds . Prizes are arriving and final touches are being made . You ’ re going to love this event ! So mark your calendars to attend the Royalty Show because it ’ s an event you won ’ t want to miss .
Now that summer is in full swing , you can always catch me at my favorite place , Oasis Equestrian Center in Lindstrom , being the overly bubbly gate gal on Tuesdays for the Jackpot Barrels . If you ’ ve met me , you ’ ll notice there is no off switch to being bubbly and I love being at the gate to give off those positive vibes whether you had a phenomenal run or you knocked a barrel . Sometimes you need that energy to keep going . Oasis is like my home away from home where the grounds are always ready to go , the atmosphere is fun and the food booth is always making something delicious . If you need some bubbly rays of sunshine to brighten your week , come visit me at Oasis . It won ’ t be hard to find me . Or I ’ ll see you soon at the Royalty Show on the 15th .
