ast summer, I went on holidays to Sardinia, a beautiful Italian island. Two friends and I decided to leave at the last minute, and so within two days we booked the ferry and the apartment. We left on July 18th from Piombino (Tuscany) and after about 5 hours of crossing, we arrived in Olbia. We had our car so it was easy to get to our accommodation in San Teodoro, a small town in the North-East of the island, full of life and close to the most frequented beaches.
Staying there 15 days, we got to run and to discover enchanted places. A natural paradise. Every day we went to different beaches and each one had different and amazing views.
Among the most famous one, we saw the beaches La Cinta, Capo Coda Cavallo, Cala Brandinchi, Cala Lo Impostu, etc.

MY SUMMER IN SARDINIA
From San Teodoro you can also reach easily some towns, like Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo, which are very famous for the celebrities who are used to visit it as well as other towns along the Costa Smeralda.
Among the most beautiful days spent in Sardinia, I remember the two different days sailing.
The first time, we had chartered a sailboat with skipper and so we could do a tour all around the Gulf of Maddalena, on the island of Maddalena you can find its famous pink beaches.
The second time, we went to visit the Gulf of Orosei, so we could admire the natural paradise of Cala Luna, Cala Mariola and Cala Goloritze`.
These mini cruises are organized daily in Sardinia and are not too expensive, the price is around 30 euros per person and per day (food included).
