PRESIDENT’ S MESSAGE

Dear ASCE New Hampshire Members,
As we roll into the summer months, I’ m thrilled to step into the president role and reflect on success that ASCE continues to build year over year. The strength of our section lies in the dedication of our members, and your continued support and engagement. Speaking of dedication, please make sure to congratulate our newest past-president, Michael Eno, on a job well done during his term as president.
Investing in the Future
This year, thanks to your contributions and continued commitment to education, the New Hampshire Section proudly awarded over $ 25,000 in scholarships to deserving students across the state. These awards recognize not only academic achievement but also a passion for engineering and a vision for the future. We are confident these young leaders will carry forward the legacy of innovation, resilience, and integrity that defines our field.
7 th Annual Engineers Day: A Tremendous Success
One of the recent highlights was our 7th Annual Engineers Day Conference. This event not only brought together professionals from across the civil engineering community but also raised over $ 18,000 for our scholarship fund! The generosity and enthusiasm displayed by all participants, sponsors, and volunteers exemplify the spirit of our profession. These funds help fuel our mission, support future events, and most importantly, invest in the next generation of engineers. Your next chance to contribute to the scholarship fund will be at the ASCE Scholarship Golf Tournament in August.
Looking Ahead
As we move into the second half of the year, our focus remains on building community, fostering professional growth, and advocating for the essential role civil engineers play in shaping our world. We encourage you to stay engaged through participation in our upcoming events and section initiatives. Your involvement makes a difference.
On behalf of the ASCE-NH leadership team, thank you for being an essential part of our vibrant community. Let’ s continue to build a stronger, more connected, and forwardlooking civil engineering profession here in New Hampshire.
Sincerely, Logan Johnson, PE President, ASCE New Hampshire Section
