AAMD’ s increased focus on social media engagement has paid off, highlighted by recognition of individuals and increased amount of content( not just promotions!). For the first year ever, we surpassed over one million post impressions along with surpassing the milestone of 10,000 followers across all four platforms.

New " Best Badge " Custom Software Debuts
You wouldn ' t think badge printing software would be a significant milestone for AAMD in any given year, but in March 2026, we debuted a new system that the Board of Directors commissioned to be built specifically for our four biggest events( EconXChange, TechCon, Maintenance Mania and Education Conference & Trade Show).
The goal was simple- something so streamlined and efficient that an attendee would spend less than 20 seconds checking in a events and getting their namebadge. After introducing the system at TechCon, we made significant
improvements for Maintenance Mania and Education Conference & Trade Show, in which 80 % of attendees got their namebadges printed at a kiosk in less than 20 seconds. This resulted in no lines at registration, and most importantly, an improved experience leaving more time for attendees to visit sponsors, go to education and network with their peers.
