Increasing a Positive Public Perception through PR

With both rent and evictions experiencing a decrease in the past few years, AAMD / CAA worked this year to increase relationships with members of the media with the intention of seeing more balanced messaging in their reporting on our industry.
Additionally, during the Colorado General Session we promoted a geofenched social media campaign that explained Rental Housing ' s critical function in our state and local economy. on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X, reaching over 15,000 people within the walls of the state Capitol.

Legal Handbook Distributed at Colorado General Assembly

The 14th Edition of the CAA Legal Handbook was released in February. All CAA members who manage apartments have complimentary access to the book on the CAA website.
In an effort to support informed policymaking, a printed edition of the Handbook was shared with members of the Colorado General Assembly and other stakeholders to provide an overview of the laws that govern rental housing in the state. Our hope is that this resource fosters continual discussion on how to balance tenant protections with the practical realities of rental housing operations.
By working together to ensure that all stakeholders’ voices are heard, policymakers, housing providers, and tenant advocates can ensure that Colorado’ s landlord-tenant laws remain clear effective, and fair for all parties.
Thank you to Mark Tschetter and his team at Tschetter Sulzer Muccio, for his continual support of this valuable industry resource and member service.
