In 1983, Dwain Bower had an idea- he had worked for others for years- now he wanted to create his own friendly, family owned tire company. So he bought an old lumber yard in Cement Hollow and opened his shop, selling a tire new to the area... he literally built his business on the treads of Cooper Tires. Now, 42 years later, Dwain ' s dream continues, with daughter, Denise, and sons, Doug and Cork, in charge.
