More than two hundred and fifty guests flooded the Crowne Plaza in Warwick to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the DaVinci Center and honor the late John DeLuca . Guest speaker Helena Foulkes shared her insight and experiences of DeLuca , who served as founder and executive director of the nonprofit organization in the North End of Providence . The night paid tribute to DeLuca ’ s legacy while mapping a path forward for the center ’ s next fifty years . — ABBIE CHIPPS
