With the tip pointy ends in a vertical line , squeeze a small amount of buttercream onto your cookie , then release as you pull away to create your leaf . Repeat for as many leaves as your designs call for .
Step 10 Storage : as we have used buttercream , it does crust but it will not set hard . We would present these in cookie boxes and not individually heat sealed in cello bags as the buttercream would smudge . We recommend using royal icing if you want to store your cookies in bags as this sets hard .
