Children Waiting For A Home ...
Domanick , 14 , describes himself like this , “ I am a nice kid who is smart , too .” He is a naturally curious teen who loves a variety of activities and is always open to learning . Some of his interests include cooking , doing arts and crafts , playing board games , and listening to music . Domanick enjoys watching comedy movies and TV shows . He ’ s also a competitive Uno player , who also loves to play Minecraft . Domanick is his happiest , though , when he ' s playing basketball . When he grows up , he ' d love to be a video game designer and chef , as his dream day would be cooking , eating , and learning about new foods . Domanick says , “ I ' d like a family who is active , loves to cook and try new foods . I ' d love to go camping , fishing , and play games together . I hope they ' d be interested to learn about Pokémon because I love it so much . A family who helps me with my homework would be important , too .” He ' d like a family who is not parenting any other children . He looks forward to having his own room and lots of time with adoptive parents . He loves pets , especially dogs , cats , and rabbits . His biggest dream is “ to have a good family and home .”
Matthew , 20 , is a sweet , smart , and dutiful youth . His favorite place to be is outside , whether out for a stroll in the fresh air or for a longer trip to the playground . When Matthew is at the park he enjoys running and exploring . At the playground , he enjoys playing on the swings and slides . He also loves waterparks , arcades , and sensory gyms ! Obviously , he likes being engaged in activity . When he ’ s home , he enjoys watching cartoons , listening to music , playing with sensory toys , and playing in the backyard . Matthew does well at school and is meeting all his academic goals . Matthew wants to spend as much time as possible with the people that love and care for him , that ’ s where he is at his happiest and where he thrives the most . He enjoys giving out cuddles , hugs , and smiles when he feels comfortable . Matthew responds best to structure and routine , though he easily adapts to new experiences . Heaven , 15 , is a social butterfly , an extrovert who is easy to engage in conversation . Optimistic , creative , and outgoing , she loves to spend time with family and friends . She likes arts and crafts , especially drawing , and reading fantasy-themed books . Heaven also enjoys cheering on her favorite teams , the Lakers and the NY Giants . She also enjoys going to the mall and getting her hair and nails done . Her favorite subjects in high school are Social Studies and Reading . Heaven wants to be involved in extracurricular activities , specifically drama club and cheerleading . This caring , responsible and driven teen aspires to attend college for nursing , psychology , or social work . She ' d like to be successful in life . She is searching for an active family that enjoys spending time together , and would be committed , supportive of her educational goals , and understanding that she just wants to have a “ normal ” teenage life . Ongoing contact with her siblings is a non- negotiable . Heaven would like a family that makes her feel accepted as part of the family HEAVEN
