Here ' s a great Dad ' s Day Gift Idea ! It ' s easy and fun ! All you need is a baseball or softball , an ink pad , and a baseball mitt or stand . Follow these simple steps :
• Make a handprint with your child ' s hand - be sure to cover his or her hand thoroughly with ink . Have your child wrap fingers around and grip the ball tightly to ensure a firm and even print .
• Let the ink dry completely before wrapping the gift to make sure it doesn ' t smudge .
• Get creative ... use different colors of ink to represent your dad ' s favorite team ' s colors , instead of just using black or blue ink !
