Audix M45 Shortgun Aimable Shotgun Ceiling Mic
Audix has introduced the M45 Shortgun miniaturized shotgun condenser ceiling mic . The M45 microphone is able cover up to 150 sq . ft . of area with improved sensitivity and clear sound . The company says it ’ s ideal for use in corporate or educational classroom-style setups , boardrooms and conference rooms , as well as larger lecture venues and hospitals .
The M45 is designed to be highly-versatile and aimable , featuring a low-profile , swivel-and-pivot base for convenient positioning . The M45 is optimized for vocal intelligibility and offers high sensitivity of 98 mV / Pa at 1 kHz , a maximum SPL of > 124 dB , an integrated preamp , immunity from RF interference , and is easy to install in a 1.5-in . hole with no additional tools required .
With the M45 , mic-level signal and LED control are over an RJ45 connection . An adapter is also included to convert from RJ45 to an eight-conductor pluggable terminal block . For those using Dante networks , the optional Audix DN4 Enhanced Onramp for Dante / AES67 is available for purchase , and supports up to four devices and includes LED logic control .

With an edgeless , magnetic grille design , the Desono DX ceiling loudspeakers match other Desono ceiling loudspeakers . DX ceiling loudspeakers have a CCEA-compliant design in accordance with local codes and regulations . New reinforced SpringLock Clamps with coarse threaded screws allow clamping on to thin surfaces and eliminate metal “ drop stop ” tabs or mounting clamps , improving the installation experience . Desono DX ceiling loudspeakers fit existing Desono accessories , as well as a suite of new accessories designed to address a variety of installation variables . Both Desono DX ceiling and surface-mount loudspeakers include matching coaxial HF compression drivers for consistent sound quality .

DPA Microphones has introduced the 4466 CORE Omnidirectional and 4488 CORE Directional headset microphones .
Based on the design of the company ’ s 6066 Subminiature headsets , the new 4466 CORE Omnidirectional and 4488 CORE Directional headset microphones feature the brand ’ s 5mm round microphone capsule . These latest offerings provide the security , durability , and flexibility necessary for use in broadcast , worship , theatre , and corporate conferencing . With a one-size-fits-all design and adjustable boom height and length , the 4466 and 4488 headsets accommodate all head shapes and sizes . A unique , three-point gripping system ( above , below , and behind the ear ) ensures a greater level of security , while the flexible ear hooks provide continued comfort during extended use .
In addition , the new headsets share the same interchangeable cable and boom options as the 6066 Subminiature headsets ; this includes the 90-degree cable management guide at the neck . The headset frame , boom , and capsule have a non-reflective surface for unobtrusiveness and ease-of-use for camera crews . The 4466 and 4488 are available in the company ’ s standard black and beige options , as well as the recently-added brown version .
