Perhaps the most prestigious of all F1 races and one every Formula 1 driver wants to win on the mythical circuit of Monaco which is the slowest and hardest of the Formula 1 World Championship . The one who wins in Monaco will deserve it because even a small error in the streets of the principality can be race ending . Qualifying at Monaco is vitally important as overtaking on the circuit is almost impossible .
It was the second circuit to receive Formula 1 status in 1950 ( May 21 ), after Silverstone , but there have been races there since 1929 . The circuit , which has remained nearly identical since 1950 , is 3,340 km long the shortest on the F1
