Our learners reveled in another engaging month filled with science , nature , and whimsy . We learned about the life cycles of different creatures and compared them to our own . We also used our known knowledge about chemical reactions and Newton ’ s laws of motion to fuel a bottle rocket . Our learners love to watch vinegar and baking soda work their magic together . Next month , our curious learners will further explore color extraction and buoyancy . We ’ ll also demonstrate the powers of electrical and magnetic forces . Stay tuned !

For the month of May , our learners explored different habitats for fish , mammals , and bugs , as well as their needs for living . To help enhance the experience , our littlest learners sampled dried seaweed and observed the physical features of a real fish . All of our learners also had a chance to observe a few thousand or so ladybugs . Our older learners discussed their eating habits and their similar life stages to butterflies . It was a magnificent month filled with lots of nature in and out of the classroom . Our learners can expect even more natural discoveries next month !
