In 2020 , a difficult year to say the least with a global pan- demic raging , the Washington
DC Police Foundation worked with MPD to ensure youth pro- gramming could continue .
They knew they had to find a way to stay connected with program youth and help them through these chal- lenging months , whilst so many routines were interrupt- ed , schools were closed , and most public activity was at a standstill .
