Library and Foundation Partnered with PCs for People to Provide Computers to Eligible Families and Students Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) and the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation partnered with PCs for People to provide computers and laptops to eligible families and students. These retired items were no longer used in CML locations and would otherwise be recycled. PCs for People represents the first organization to receive support from the CMLF’s Innovation Fund, and $3,000 was used to reduce the typical $80 fee for a computer or laptop down to $20. Dublin City Schools Gives Back The Dublin City School district helped to provide much-needed supplies to healthcare professionals and first responders amid the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus. The school district donated 3,360 masks to Dublin Methodist Hospital and also donated gloves and thermometers to Dublin police and fire department personnel. In addition, students and staff made more than 1,200 masks with 3D printers and donated these masks to Delaware EMS and other organizations in need.
