Off-Ice Training Program, Home Ice Advantage! Off-ice ensures all levels of
skaters do not lose the progress they have already made on the ice while
also perfecting their skills and learning new skills for when they return!
Meet our Virtual Coaching Staff!
Heidi Weber-Howe has been teaching at Glenview for 8
years, member of Team USA for 8, Chicago Jazz for 7
and Miami’s Synchronized Skating Team for 4. She’s
won National and International Titles. Heidi loves to
cater to skaters with creative ways to teach one skill.
Tera Hoffman has been teaching at Glenview for 17
years. She is a USFS gold medalist in Moves in the field,
has passed the Junior Freestyle test, and is a 5 time
Upper Great Lakes Regional competitor. With a strong
background in dance, Tera specializes in choreography.
Bailey Styzinski has skated for 20 years including 13 on
Chicago Jazz, 4 on Miami’s Synchronized Skating Team,
9 on Team USA, and 3 as a member of USFSA’s DREAM
Program. With experience in all aspects of skating on
and off of the ice, her favorite is coaching skating skills.
Julie Brinskelle has been coaching for 12 years both
individual skaters and production teams. Julie is a
member of PSA, ISI, and USFS organizations. Julie’s
focus is on proper technique while having fun and
motivating skaters at all levels.
Melissa Trujillo is entering her 4 th year on Miami’s
Synchronized Skating Team. She is a triple gold
medalist (moves in the field, ice dance and freestyle)
and has been on Team USA for 8 years. She loves to
pass down her expansive technical skills to skaters.
Carly Rieger skated for 15 years competing from the
local to national level. Carly’s coached for the past 5
years ranging from Basic Skills, Freeskate, Moves in the
Field, and Synchro. Leveraging experiences to help build
of strength and conditioning for all levels of skaters.

Learn to Skate: Off-Ice Basics
(Basic 1 – Pre Freeskate)
Introduction to off-ice figure skating
training. Skaters will interact with
coaches and other students while
using household items to learn and
practice their skating skills.

(FS 1 and Up)
Increase your strength by learning
and practicing new jumps or spins or
increase your flexibility to finally get
that spiral heel stretch or bielmann.
Learn something new each week as
coaches use strength, flexibility,
pilates, spins and jumps trainings.
