GLENVIEW PARK DISTRICT ENTERS
PHASE 3 OF RECOVERY
On May 30, Illinois entered Phase 3 of the Governor’s
5-Phase Reopening Plan. It’s welcome news for us all and
we are excited to open additional facilities and introduce
some in-person recreation opportunities over the next
several weeks. Under Phase 3, groups of up to 10 people
are allowed with proper physical distancing of 6 feet
and the continued use of face masks when physical
distancing is not possible. The Park District will continue
to follow all guidelines from the CDC and Illinois
Department of Public Health regarding best practices to
reduce the risk of contagion.
We appreciate everyone doing their part by complying
with safety guidelines and rules to ensure a safe and fun
experience for all.

of Park Commissioners meets on
the fourth Thursday evening of each
month at 7 pm at Park Center, 2400
Chestnut Ave., unless otherwise
noted. Call 847-724-5670 for
additional information or to confirm
times and dates of meetings. All
meetings are open to the public.

The Board of Park Commissioners
consists of seven elected members
who serve unsalaried six-year
terms. The board sets priorities and
defines the policies for financing,
governance, operation and
administration of the district.
