Park Center Virtual Tri
This year’s Sprint Tri is going virtual, but the challenge is real, giving you a whole new way
to stay active, have fun and claim your race swag!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Sign up online and commit to completing the events during the time frame. Since the race is virtual, you set the pace
and you choose the place! Be sure to practice physical distancing and other CDC guidelines for preventing the spread
of COVID-19.
Due to the limited availability of swimming locations this summer, participants can choose another activity to replace
the 300-yard swim. It should take at least five minutes to complete. Here are some ideas: jump rope, dance, roller
blade, hike, play with your kids, golf, garden and more! Tag us at #getfitglenview so we can see your great photos and
YOUR choice of activity. Feel free to let your creativity shine!
VIRTUAL SPRINT TRI DISTANCES
• 10-mile Bike Ride (on the road or on a stationary bike)
• 5K Run (on a treadmill or outdoors)
• Activity of your choice OR 300-yard Swim (pool, lake, etc.)
VIRTUAL AQUA BIKE DISTANCES
• 10-mile Bike Ride (on the road or on a stationary bike)
• Activity of your choice OR 300-yard Swim (pool, lake, etc.)
WHEN DO I NEED TO COMPLETE THE EVENTS?
You’re encouraged to do your race on July 26, the event’s
original date. But you also have the option to complete
the race sometime between July 1 and July 26. Registration
closes on July 25. Submit your results between
July 1 and August 1
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Everyone who registers receives a tech T-shirt, finisher
medal, custom bib, swim cap and downloadable finisher
certificate.
Race swag will be mailed out beginning in July, depending
on when you signed up.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone age 13 and older! First-timers and seasoned triathletes
alike are welcome.
