The significance of Auras
The Aura is a reflection of our True Nature at any given moment. Our True Nature is what is left once we have discarded all our habits, stereotypes, manners and superficial behaviour and become conscious, truly natural and spontaneous. Some people are so attached to their habits and manners that it can be very difficult for them to discover who they really are. Sometimes, the only way to reach their true nature is by watching their aura as this shows their True Nature, behind any façade of superficial behaviour.
In general, the aim is for a clean, colourful and bright Aura that has uniform energy distribution as this can signify, a balanced person in spirit and health.
The Aura surrounds the entire body but for this article we will focus more around the head and shoulders. The more you practise, the clearer the colours will show, and you can then verify the Aura of the person you are watching with them by confirming their thoughts.
Most people will have a couple of dominant colours, but Auras also show thoughts, feelings and desires which often appear as flashes or clouds around the head area but not necessarily close to the head. Quickly flashing colours indicate quickly changing thoughts.
We are told by the spirits that when we pass from this world our Aura plays a significant part as it becomes part of our communication with each other and it eventually replaces our spoken language.
Seeing Auras
The aura reflects a person’s spirit and personality energy. There are many colours and each colour and colour combination hold information about that person. The colours change with mood, environment, health (mentally and physically) and spiritual evolution.
Choose a neutral, softly coloured plain wall as a background (white, cream or beige are good colours) to help see the aura colours more clearly and not misinterpret mixed colours with the background.
Try to focus on one spot, for example, the persons forehead. It is important to have the consent of the person first. Or a spot on the background through the person. The red dot Indians use on their foreheads, is believed that in ancient times was there as an invitation to look at their aura.
Focus on the spot for 30 to 60 seconds at least, do not look around or become distracted, it is important to concentrate until your eyes look with their peripheral vision (this is the change that is likened to when looking at 3D images and the vision shifts so you can identify the objects that seem hidden in the picture at first). Gradually, the background will become brighter and a different colour, keep focusing and concentrating and the colours will increase as does your sensitivity increase.
Although some say it is possible to see your own aura, it is not always reliable as the mind can trick you to see the colours you would probably like to see.
Let’s take a look at the colours and their possible meanings
The colours have many interpretations depending on colour combinations, their strength and the environment surrounding the person at the time. They are meant as a guide and the more you practise the more accurate and clear you will become at reading their significance to the individual at that moment.
