Outstanding Youth in VOL Parish.
Our First Communion
students were invited to
return on Sunday, May
6th, to participate in our
Children's Mass for the
Crowning of our Mother,
Mary. Payton Truong
and Bret Brantley
processed in with a
crown" of flowers and

placed it on Mary's head.
The students also participated in Deacon Jim Rooney's homily
on the meaning of love.
Danielle Bourg recently graduated from Southeastern
Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in
Elementary Education and was honored with the
President’s Medal for Academic Excellence. Medals
are presented to graduating seniors with the highest
academic average in each college. Danielle is a 2010
VOL graduate.
