Good Stewards Know We Don’t Get a
Ticket to Heaven with Money and
Stuff, but with LOVE.
Let’s give great thanks to God. We live in America! We are
the most affluent people ever. There are exceptions, of course, but
we Americans wake-up in the morning in a bed. Generally speaking,
we wake-up in our own house or apartment. We shower or bathe
daily. We have more clothes than we need. We have more food
than we need. We not only have a car, SVU or truck, we often have
more than one of them. We have money in our pocket or purse. We
have savings, either in a bank or in equity in our house, car or other
stuff. By historic standards, even the poor own or, at least, experi-
ence things that even kings and queens of the past never did. King
Henry VIII, for example, never experienced the joy of air condition-
ing on a hot July afternoon. Henry VIII never rode in a car, SUV or
truck. We are BLESSED!!

THANK God? Regularly? Daily? Or, do we just mostly take for
granted all that we have. Or, worse yet, do we complain that we
don’t have more?
