Congratulations to Danny and Stephanie Laurent on receiving the Order of St . Louis XI Award ! This prestigious award was established nearly 40 years ago to honor those members of the laity who have contributed their time and talents to the church .
Danny and Stephanie have given countless hours of their time to both VOL School and Church . Danny serves as director of VOL ’ s contemporary choir , SoulSpirit , and is our Youth Director . He serves on the Pastoral Council and is an active member of the Men ’ s Club . Stephanie serves as Mass Captain for our 7pm Mass and is an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and Lector . She is also a member of the A / V Ministry and the Liturgy Committee . They both were co-chairs of the 2017 Cajun Festival .
The Laurents have truly been a blessing to VOL , and we are so blessed to have them in our parish !
