The Beauty of Nature at VOL
The fountain in the VOL Pray-
er Garden froze twice during our recent
record-breaking temperatures, resulting
in beautiful chandeliers of ice!
Have plans for
Ash Wednesday is on February 14th, a
day which many couples celebrate their love for
each other. It’s also a day of fasting. (See page 7
of this newsletter for detailed fasting guide-
lines.)
This year offers the rare opportunity for
couples to both honor Christ by fasting and at-
tending Ash Wednesday Mass together, and en-
joying their one full meal of the day - all on the
VOL campus.
VOL will offer an evening Ash Wednes-
day Mass at 7pm, and a Seafood Supper from
5pm - 8pm in the cafeteria. Stop in after a day
of fasting to feed your body and soul!
