April 2015 Exploring God’s Gifts Through Science Visitation of Our Lady School fourth and fifth graders recently held a science fair in the school's gym. Each student group formulated a hypothesis and conducted an experiment to test it. Their results were illustrated with creative projects displayed on three-way boards. Other grade levels, teachers and parents were invited to view the science projects and read about the students’ experiments. Winners were announced at the monthly Co-Op meeting. Fourth grade winners: 1st - Courtney Comeaux & Allie Cozzens ("Whose Mouth is the Dirtiest?") 2nd - Kaden McCormick ("Catching Air"), 3rd - Olivia Couvillion & Kayley Rouse ("Rethink Your Drink") 4th - Casey Seput ("A Plant Jam") 5th place - Alayna Cardenal & Carlie Laurent ("Gummy Fun") Honorable Mentions - Evan Anderson ("M&M's), Forrest Chessher ("A Race You Can Chase"). Thanks t o the hard work of the Men’s Club Members and the support of the community, the Men’s Club turned over a check for $7,612.89 to Fr. Mike. Proceeds were raised from the annual Golf Tournament and the annual Lenten Seafood Suppers.
