Robert will be forever loved and
forever missed.
Family members include his
wife Nadeana M. (Cardinal) Bry-
ant of Twin Mountain; three
sons, Sydney Lee Bryant of
Groveton, Michael James Bryant
of Lunenburg, Brody Isaiah
Palmer of Twin Mountain; his
parents, Margery Tucker of Ten-
nessee, Sterling Bryant of Con-
cord, Vt.; two grandchildren; a
brother Richard Bryant of
Lunenburg; three sisters, Susan
Bryant of St. Johnsbury, Marga-
ret Bryant of Lyndonville, Mar-
tha Bryant of Dalton, and many
nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the
convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the
direction of Bailey Funeral Home
in Lancaster.

WHITEFIELD–Eleanor
Baker Stevens, 85, died Sunday
evening, June 25, 2017 at Coun-
try Village Genesis Eldercare
Center, Lancaster, after a
lengthy illness.
Eleanor was born in White-
field on July 8, 1931, the daugh-
ter of Leslie and Carlena
(Holmes) Baker. She was the
second daughter of eight broth-
ers and sisters; Leslie Baker,
Dorothy Baker Johnson and Paul
Baker all deceased and all of
East Douglas, Massachusetts,
Janet Baker Johnson Beaton,
Maurice Baker, and Claire Baker
Wright (all deceased), all of
Whitefield. Barbara Baker Col-
burn of California, and Glen
Baker Marro of Whitefield.
She is survived by five chil-
dren; Cynthia Stevens White of
Dalton, (Rodney, deceased)
Cathy Stevens Dubreuil of Guild-
hall, Vt., (Thomas), Edward R.
Stevens of Dalton, Scott Stevens
of Dalton, (Christine),and Cherie
Stevens Ramsdell of Cary, North
Carolina, (Scott); eight grand-
children, and nine great grand-
children, two sisters and many
cousins, nieces and nephews.
“Ellie" worked for several
years as an aid to the teachers at
the CD McIntyre Elementary
School in Whitefield, a job she
very much enjoyed. She finished
her working years at Nuroco
Woodworking,
which
later
became Brown Street Furniture,
located in Whitefield, where she
gained an appreciation for wood-
working as a hobby.
For a number of years her job
was that of grandmother, caring
for and carting around her
grandchildren, enlisting their
help picking up rocks and road-
side plants for her yard, and
