lived with her daughter in Nashua for a time, and she later married Arthur L. Greenlaw who died in 2007.
Gladys leaves behind two daughters, Leona Douglas and husband Richard, and Barbara Uran and her partner Dan Thibodeau, all of Nashua; a sister, Nora Thompson of Tennessee; ten grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren, and two greatgreat grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Brooks, and a sister, Reva Ricker.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Jenkins and Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook on Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 10 to 11 a. m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a. m. in the funeral home, and then a graveside interment service will be held at the Indian Stream Cemetery in Pittsburg.

ANTONIO NADEAU BERLIN – Antonio( Tony)
Nadeau, 87, died unexpectedly at Androscoggin Valley Hospital on June 12, 2017.
Tony was born in Berlin in 1929, the son of Adelard and Clara Gagne Nadeau. He graduated from Notre Dame High School and then from the University of New Hampshire in 1954, with a degree in French Language and Literature.
He was a proud member of the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1970, serving at stations in Texas, California, Minnesota, Japan, and Morocco. He did a tour in the Vietnam war in 1969, serving at the Danang Air Base.
After retiring from the Air Force with the rank of Major, he used his skills and talent in foreign languages to become a high school teacher of French and German. He taught in the Pittsburg, New Hampshire school department until his retirement, earning a reputation as a demanding but exceedingly fair and hard-working teacher. Tony had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all contemplation in nature’ s space. His walks in the woods were legendary among friends and family.
Tony is survived by his sister Juliette, as well as two nephews, Richard and Gordon.
He will be greatly missed as a man of limitless curiosity, exceptional principle, and enduring honesty.
