Housing Supply Overview A RESEARCH TOOL PROVIDED BY SOUTH CAROLINA REALTORS® June 2016 Quick Facts Sales have been brisk, particularly at midpoint levels away from the highs and lows, and months' supply of inventory continues to drop, sometimes significantly. For the 12-month period spanning July 2015 through June 2016, Pending Sales in the Hilton Head region were up 13.3 percent overall. The price range with the largest gain in sales was the $225,001 to $375,000 range, where they increased 27.2 percent. The overall Median Sales Price was up 9.1 percent to $289,000. The property type with the largest price gain was the Single-Family Homes segment, where prices increased 8.8 percent to $315,000. The price range that tended to sell the quickest was the $100,001 to $225,000 range at 119 days; the price range that tended to sell the slowest was the $650,001 and Above range at 200 days. Market-wide, inventory levels were up 2.1 percent. The property type that gained the most inventory was the Single Family segment, where it increased 4.0 percent.
