Intelligence and Sustainment Company (ISC) On 22 March 2014, while conducting a mounted patrol in Kandahar Province, one of our Hellhounds was involved in an IED strike that disabled a portion of her vehicle. Luckily, all Soldiers involved were alive and well, and sustained some injuries. That Soldier is SSG Montoya from our G2X HUMINT team. On her way back to the United States to get surgery on her foot, she stopped at Bagram for a 36 hour period and asked if she could re-enlist. We made it happen. This just shows some of the dedication that our Soldiers have to their Unit, the Army, and their Country. On her stop in Germany, she met with the Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama. We are proud of you SSG Montoya and hope you recuperate quickly while back at Fort Sam Houston. Godspeed, good luck, and we hope to see you on our return.
