Practice stillness in your mind and body in brief moments throughout the day . Examples might be , before looking at your phone when it dings , take a moment to close your eyes ( if you can ), bring a deep breath in and out while recognizing how the air flows . You ’ ll experience a moment of stillness that helps sustain a sense of peace and calm within your body . Although brief , this is your moment BETWEEN thinking , and it is a subtle , easy way to reconnect . Regularly practiced throughout the day before attending to your tasks makes a significant contribution to your joy and inner peace . mental conditioning and other forms of selfsabotage . You can rise above your thoughts and free yourself from limiting emotions moment by moment . The mind can be an amazing tool for co-creation , but only if you ’ re not consumed by it .
What spiritual teachings as well as various scientific and practical teachings reveal , is that when you learn how the mind works , you can learn how to harness it , and you can learn to focus it . And once you learn that what it comes down to is repeatedly practicing what works for you until it becomes a natural part of who you are and what you do .
