Pennsylvania’ s Dental Meeting
Pennsylvania’ s Dental Meeting was held April 25-26 at The Desmond Malvern.
This year’ s meeting incorporated the theme of“ Be Well,” clinically, physically, financially and mentally, and the event included a great variety of sessions and activities.
After a Thursday evening of connecting with PDA leaders and some axe throwing at Splitting Edge, Friday morning kicked off with the Keynote Address from Kae Lani Palmisano, an Emmy Award-winning host from WHYY in Philadelphia(“ Examining the Power of Food”). CE sessions and Chair Yoga led into Friday evening’ s reception and our celebration and awards dinner, where outstanding members were recognized.
At Saturday’ s Business Meeting, we honored this year’ s 10 Under 10 recipients and recognized the graduates of this year’ s Leadership Academy. Outgoing president Dr. Cary Limberakis concluded his term, handing the reins to Dr. Ted Rockwell for 2025-26. In addition to the Saturday afternoon slate of CE courses, we had a new addition to this year’ s PDM with the student and resident poster contest. Lots of old friends, new friends and colleagues reconnected at a variety of receptions throughout.
Next year’ s meeting is scheduled for April 17-18, 2026 at the Omni Bedford Springs.
