PDA ’ S
DENTAL CONFERENCE
The attendees at PDA ’ s first Family Vacation Dental Conference enthusiastically agreed that we should do this again !
For those who could not attend , you missed continuing education , camaraderie , quality time with loved ones AND the possibility of using the costs to attend the dental conference as a tax write-off .
PDA ’ s Family Vacation Dental Conference was held June 15-17 at the AAA Four Diamond Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort , Spa and Marina on Maryland ’ s Eastern Shore . Conference attendees from Pennsylvania and Maryland enjoyed golf , spirited tennis matches , spa treatments and relaxation time at one of the resort ’ s three pools .
The registration fee included CE on oral cancer ; the oral health-systemic health connection ; a session on financial success in all stages of your career ; and a Friday reception .
That evening , everyone gathered to meet one another ’ s families , share stories from their day and enjoy plentiful food and drink . We knew it was a success when some young picky eaters wanted seconds . The reception was perfectly timed so no one missed the chance to walk at sunset or play a round of mini golf or watch the movie showing at the indoor pool .
PDA president-elect Dr . Cary J . Limberakis was a big fan of the experience .
“ I attended excellent CE programs , located in a beautifully appointed resort and thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie of my colleagues and their families . I ’ d do it again in an instant !”
Since the 2023 conference was so well received , Dr . Limberakis is leading discussions about planning future meetings . Watch your mail and email for updates and plan to make it a tradition for you and your family to attend PDA ’ s Family Vacation Dental Conference !
