PENNSYLVANIA ’ S DENTAL MEETING
Pennsylvania ’ s Dental Meeting was held April 29-30 at The Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey . This marked a long-awaited return for our in-person annual meeting , following two challenging years of virtual business meetings . While many people enjoyed networking and reconnecting with old friends and colleagues in Harrisburg , the sessions were also streamed to provide a virtual option for others .
With so much to catch up on , the event kicked off Friday evening with a welcome reception , dinner and awards celebration . This gathering provided a wonderful occasion to honor all of our award recipients from the past three years as well as celebrating three PDA presidents , our outgoing president , Dr . Gary Davis , as well as Dr . Charles Incalcaterra and Dr . James Tauberg , who finished their terms in 2020 and 2021 .
On Saturday , meeting attendees had the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of continuing education courses and complimentary sessions on financial planning and practice transitions . During Saturday afternoon ’ s PDA business meeting , they heard from two special guests , ADA President-Elect Dr . George R . Shepley and ADA Executive Director Dr . Raymond Cohlmia .
