The ADA Board of Trustees also made
the tough decision to cancel the
in-person House of Delegates meeting
in Orlando. This year the HOD will be
held virtually for the first time. I know
that anyone who has ever served as a
delegate or alternate in the HOD, or
even viewed it as a guest, has to wonder
how this will all work. This is another
example of what this global pandemic
has done, forced organizations to come
up with new and creative ways to
operate. Dentists are of course are
“hands-on” people and it may be out
of our comfort zone to sit at a computer
screen, but I know we will rise up to the
challenges. We always have!
The next few weeks and months are
sure to present their challenges, but we
need to be sure we lead by example.
Please wash your hands, use hand
sanitizer, practice social distancing and
for goodness sake WEAR A MASK!
These steps can make a huge difference
in getting through this.
Take care PDA and STAY SAFE!
#PDAPROUD!
P.S. - Finally on a personal note, a little
blast of bright light came through this
— STR3
darkness when Mary and I were blessed
with our second grandson, Thomas
Charles, who was born on the 4 th of
July to our daughter Cassie and her
husband, Eric! I am sure he will hear lots
of stories about 2020 as he grows up!
