wellness her number one issue during her
year as president. She was featured in
ASDA’s journal and detailed her own
struggles with keeping her mental health
in good shape. I had the great fortune of
spending a year on the ADA’s Committee
on Annual Meetings with her and she was
always positive and upbeat and never
hinted at any struggles. Everyone should
have the opportunity to spend time with
her. She will have a positive impact on
you. What is her secret? I feel like she works
hard to keep her stressors less than the
things that bring her happiness. Dancing,
singing, playing the piano or maybe a
little yoga at some point everyday would
be my guess, just knowing her based on
her social media.
It always seems easier to be happy in Erie
when the days are long, the sun actually
shines and the temperatures are well above
freezing, but we all need to work to relieve
our stress, especially from the office,
when the days are not so sunny and warm.
I hope you find that for yourselves. Finally,
to paraphrase Roopali and her favorite hash
tag, “Be Well PDA!”
