Pennsylvania’s
Dental Meeting
was held April 6 at
The Gettysburg Hotel.
This was the first time since
2001 that our annual meeting
took place at a venue other than
the Hotel Hershey, and only the
second time in history that
PDA met in Gettysburg, with
the previous occasion way
back in 1871.
Prior to the meeting itself, the
Temple Alumni Reception and
the Welcome Reception on
Friday evening, April 5, provided
opportunities for friends and
colleagues from across the
Commonwealth to connect and
catch up. The Board of Trustees’
Dinner was also held April 5, with
our Annual Award winners and
CEO Camille Kostelac-Cherry
being honored.
In addition to the great slate of
Continuing Education programs
all day on Saturday, former PDA
presidents gathered for their
luncheon prior to the afternoon
slate that included a Legislative
Update, a visit from ADA executive
director Dr. Kathleen O’Loughlin
and the Business Meeting
(including the Town Hall Open
Forum). The Council of Presidents
meeting closed out the day.
Next year’s PDM is scheduled
for April 25, 2020 at Mount Airy
Casino Resort in Mount Pocono.
