We know that making personal contributions (hard dollars) is a sacrifice. We take that sacrifice very seriously by only spending your hard earned dollars where necessary. The truth is, we need hard dollars to win. In order to compete with the insurance lobbyists, one of the most formidable opponents in Pennsylvania politics, we need hard dollars to support those elected officials who believe in you and support you. If you don’t want to make a lump sum contribution you can make monthly contributions which may be easier or more convenient for you. Here are the club levels: President’s Club Liberty Club Capitol Club Keystone Club Century Club $2,500+ $1,000-$2,499 $500-$999 $200-$499 $120-$199 If you have any questions about making a contribution to PADPAC, please contact John Basial at jpb@padental.org or (800) 223-0016, ext. 108. You can also contribute online by visiting padental.org/padpac. The Senate Republican Hoopla. The Hoopla is the summer picnic fundraiser for Senate Republicans. The House is currently majority Republican. Rep. Stephen Barrar (R-Delaware) He is a long term friend of PDA and he sits on the House Professional Licensure committee. PADPAC As we begin the journey to achieve your legislative and regulatory goals this session we all need to work together to make them happen. The PDA team, working together, can achieve great things. 2019 can be the year that one of PDA’s biggest priorities Assignment of Benefits becomes the law of the land. One of the best ways to do your part on the road to success is to become a PADPAC member and a PADPAC contributor. By contributing to PADPAC you are directly making a significant and positive impact in your professional life and in your professional organization-PDA. Just as campaign contributions are the life blood of a political campaign so is a PADPAC contribution to your PAC. Your valued contributions are what we use to impact the electoral landscape for the benefit of you and your patients. When you contribute to your PAC please pay with your personal check or credit card because if you pay via a corporate card or check it limits PDA’s strategic flexibility. 14 JU LY/AU GU ST 2019 | P EN N S YLVA N IA D EN TA L J O UR N A L ® “Dentists helping Dentists” Our company provides a valuable two-sided service by: n Credentialing and contracting locum tenens dentists n Matching dental practices with highly qualified practitioners Ph: 610-216-2899 Fax: 412-235-7200 faystricklin@doctorfillin.com www.doctorfillin.com
