BORN & RAISED: Fayetteville, North Carolina
EDUCATION: Attended UNC at Chapel Hill and studied“ Studio Art”. I wanted to be an art museum curator.
FAMILY / PETS: I have been married for 20 years to my best friend. We have 3 sons all over 30 + years old and an amazing grandson who is 4 going on 40.
FAVORITE FOOD: I love seafood and pastas
FAVORITE DRINK: I love a smooth red wine in the winter and a cool Rosé in the summer.

SPORT / TEAM: Favorite sport track and field and favorite teams Nuggets / Broncos
HOBBIES: Spending time with my 4-year-old grandson and spending time in the CO mountains- Breckenridge is my favorite location, good massage.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIMARY GOAL AS AAMD PRESIDENT? My goal is to reach the future leaders of our industry and give them a platform to enhance their career path to become better leaders.
WHO IN THE INDUSTRY, HAS INSPIRED YOUR AAMD JOURNEY? There are so many people in the industry over the years who have inspired me and there is not one person who has influenced my career path. I have observed and taken a little bit from many people and have customized my leadership style to ensure I impacted future leaders.
IF YOU WEREN ' T WORKING IN THIS INDUSTRY, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING? I would be on Broadway. I love the arts and energy of being on stage. My mantra has always been-“ My world is my stage.” You must perform whether you are in the spotlight or off stage.
WHO HAS HAD THE MOST INFLUENCE IN YOUR LIFE? My husband, he is my mentor
WHY A KENTUCKY DERBY THEME AT JUNE AWARDS? The Kentucky Derby theme is a nod to my 91 year old mother who has over 50 + colorful hats she wears every Sunday to church. She has passed along her impeccable taste of fashion to my sisters and me. She would always tell us that when you stepped outside of the house you represent me and your father.
