This forum is designed to help independent owners assess where the market stands and consider how evolving conditions may impact decision-making for the remainder of the year.

On June 23, IROC members got together for our Legislative Update: What ' s to Come forum— a look at what ' s coming down the pike at the state and federal level that could affect how we run our properties.
We covered a lot of ground: housing policy, employment regs, operational compliance. The goal wasn ' t just to catch people up on what ' s already in place, but to get ahead of what ' s proposed and think through how it could actually play out on the ground— day-to-day operations, long-term planning, all of it. Independent owners don ' t have compliance departments watching this stuff for us, so staying a step ahead matters.
Honestly, the best part of these forums is still the room itself. Getting independent owners together to compare notes, ask the questions they ' re actually dealing with, and hear how others are handling the same issues— that ' s where the real value is. It ' s a big part of why IROC works.
