Congratulations Class of 2025: Your Journey Awaits!
Salutations, Bulldog Nation! June 7th, the community packed Thompson Street stadium in support of the 168 Bulldogs that made up our Class of 2025. Superintendent Dr. Ulmer pointed out that this year’ s class was comprised of some incredible students. He stated,“ Among you today are students that have left their mark on this institution. Whether it is musical success at Indoor Guard, setting the school scoring record in basketball, reaching state level competition, or raising the bar of academic standards. You should be proud of your accomplishments – most important of them is that you are now among the list of Jersey Shore graduates.”
Salutatorian Zacheus Miller encouraged our graduates to“ greet the real world as a better version of your high school self and to be the person who isn’ t afraid to stand out.” As noted earlier, there are already many standouts in this year’ s class, but Zacheus encouraged the class to seek authenticity in pursuit of finding your place as you move on from Jersey Shore.
Class Valedictorian Isabelle Engel reminded her peers to not only celebrate their accomplishments,“ but also our doubts, because it means we are brave enough to keep progressing forward. As your valedictorian, I want you all to know that this is not about having all of the answers or being perfect. It is about showing up, striving to do your best, and learning more along the way.”
Alaina Gerst, Class President, challenged our graduated seniors to embrace what lies ahead, while staying grounded in the firm foundation that was set. Alaina offered,“ Make the effort to replace your ' I have to ' mentality with an ' I get to ' approach as they walk boldly into the journey ahead. She encouraged her classmates to be kind, influence those around you positively, and take advantage of each moment life affords you."
The Class of 2025 has left their mark on Jersey Shore and raised the bar for those that follow them. Congratulations students. Best of luck in your future endeavors and always remember: It’ s a Great Day to Be a Bulldog!
