Local Organizations Rally to Support Student ' s Journey to FBLA Nationals
The Bellefonte Kiwanis Club and The Bellefonte Education Foundation , alongside other generous contributors , have joined forces to help fund a BAHS student ' s participation in the upcoming Future Business Leaders of America ( FBLA ) National Leadership Conference .
The FBLA National Leadership Conference is a prestigious event that brings together the brightest young minds from across the nation to compete in various business-related events , workshops , and leadership activities . This year , Morgan Besecker has earned the opportunity to represent Bellefonte Area High School on the national stage in Orlando , Florida later this month . Morgan and her team finished 2nd at the State Leadership Conference in Hershey , PA in April in Banking and Financial Systems .
With the cost of travel , accommodations , and registration fees , attending such a significant event can be financially challenging for many students and their families . Recognizing the importance of supporting youth in their educational endeavors , The Bellefonte Kiwanis Club and The Bellefonte Education Foundation , along with other community partners , have stepped up to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder Morgan ’ s chance to shine at the FBLA Nationals . The collaborative efforts of these local organizations and other community stakeholders highlights the power of collective action in empowering youth and investing in their future success .
