There’s no place like summer in Rhode Island
This is the year of a social distancing summer. While large gatherings like fairs and festivals have been canceled and precautionary
measures when dining out at our favorite restaurants have been placed, one thing hasn’t changed: There’s no place like Rhode
Island in the summertime. Purchase your own bicycle and enjoy a scenic ride along the East Bay Bike Path, put on a pair of sneakers
and go for a run in the great outdoors. And if you’re more of a sun worshipper, we’ve got a list of books written by local authors
for a quiet afternoon lounging in your hammock. No matter how you spend your days, we’re here to tell you: A little Rhody summer
is glorious. —Samantha Labrecque
