The Toray Resin Company (TREC) plant site in Shelbyville also serves as the company’s headquarters with a sales office in Troy, Michigan. Mr. Godwin most recently served the company as the Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. He joined Toray in 2008 and has held several key positions, including Plant Manager and Vice President of Operations. He most recently led a major capital project in the design and successful commissioning of Toray Resin Mexico (TRMX) plant in Guadalajara, Mexico. Prior to joining Toray, Mr. Godwin started his career in the plastics and chemicals industry in 1990 with Monsanto and Solutia (a spinoff of Monsanto’s chemical business).
