dries n atrick A P d n a n ry E O WHAT D M REA D R U O SY by Kath ? N A ME I am talking with my friend who is in a wheelchair. There is a huge spider about the size of a dog crawling near us. My friend says he is not afraid of it. So I put the spider on him. Then it starts to crawl all over him. He gets annoyed and asks me to get it off him, so I grab a stick and knock it off him. I am on a boat when I see a large fish swimming in the water. I think it is in danger or ill, so I jump in the water to save it. It is a dolphin, and it has a net caught on its nose. I struggle to get it off him, and eventually I free him from it. The dolphin swims off. Before I can get back on board, a large wave comes and pulls me far away from the boat. I am so far I cannot see the boat, and I am struggling to stay afloat. The waves keep coming and knocking me under the water. Sincerely, Arachnophobic Sincerely, The Drowning Dreamer Dear Arachnophobic, Dear Drowning Dreamer, You have a part of yourself that has trouble moving forward (your friend in the wheelchair). Legs represent your ability to move forward in life, so being in a wheelchair indicates you are unable to move forward with your goals in life. This type of thinking has been practiced for so long it has become a big habit (the overgrown spider). You are not afraid of facing this habit at first, however later it annoys you and you don’t want to face that way of thinking. Ask yourself why you are fearful of moving forward with your goals in life. I recommend making a vision board to get excited about your future and the fulfillment of your desires. You are focused on living lif e through the emotions (on a boat in the water). You fear that something is wrong with your spirituality (the dolphin) and that you need to save and protect some spiritual wisdom you have attained. You realize something has been impeding your spiritual knowledge from doing what it is supposed to do (the net caught on the dolphin’s nose). However, your efforts to save some piece of spiritual knowledge overwhelm you (the waves knocking you under). I suggest you realize that no spiritual wisdom can ever be lost because all permanent understandings are stored in your subconscious mind, which is always a part of your soul. Meditation can help you ease the feelings of being overwhelmed you are experiencing. eydismedia.com 87
