The Rescue Mission garden grows more
than 2,000 pounds of food each season to
supply their free meal program. In addition
to growing a variety of vegetables and fruit
for their own use, Rescue Mission residents
and volunteers raise a crop of micro-greens,
which are sold at Dubuque’s weekly Farmers’ Market.
