Sister Joeann Daley, OP, has spent her life creating art. In this show, she will display works
of art that span more than five decades. Some
of the prints represent more recent events,
while newer collage and mixed media works
remember the events of her life from a historical perspective. A special feature of the
show will be the series “My Life in Styrofoam”
in its inaugural exhibit. It includes over 200
“styroart” vessels, throw-away tableware
engraved with ornament and text. An opening reception will be held Sunday, August 7

Friday-Sunday, October 7-9
7:30 PM (Fri.-Sat.) & 2 PM (Sun.) @
Grand Opera House
Harper Lee’s poignant coming of age story is
vividly brought to life. Set in Maycomb, Alabama in 1935, Scout, a wide-eyed tomboy,
plays witness to the racial inequities and
prejudices of the era. She and her brother,
Jem, are being raised by their widower
father, Atticus, and by their strong-minded
housekeeper named Calpurnia. When a
black man is falsely accused of raping a
white woman, Atticus, a lawyer, is enlisted
for the defense. The sleepy town is torn
apart by the ensuing trial and Scout is
about to experience dramatic events that
will affect the rest of her life. Tickets are
$20 for adults and $12 for under 18. Visit
