The Monuments Men : Heroes at Home and Away October 10 @ 7 to 9 PM Loras College Alumni Center Jim Welu , director emeritus of Worcester Art Museum , will recount the real-life heroic efforts of four Monuments Men , members of a group of museum directors , curators , artists , and architects who helped protect masterpieces from the Nazis , who stole thousands of works of art from museums , churches , and private collectors during WWII .
