he 30th annual Dubuque Old
House Enthusiasts Tour will take
place on Saturday and Sunday,
May 21 and 22, from 10:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. Tickets are $12.00 and
may be purchased at any of the homes during tour hours. Children ages 10 and under
may experience the tour free of charge. The
tour includes the Clancy House at 1110
Langworthy St., the Buettell House at 225
Alpine St., the Betty Jane Candy House at
239 Alpine St., the Woodward House at
1090 W. 3rd St., and the Wunderlich House
at 1004 W. 3rd St.
Buettell Brothers, a wholesale company,
known for its stationery, sporting goods
and toys. E.A. was the president and general
manager. He was said to have had “good
taste and selected goods that were sellers.”

The Wunderlich House was built between
1924 and 1925. The house is a prime
example of Tudor revival architecture. Its
